A Strong Start for Etihad's Women in the Elite League
Etihad Women's team kicked off their title defense campaign with a 7-1 victory over Orthodox in the opening round of the U19 Women's Elite League at the Polo Stadium on Friday evening.

Janna Maatouk scored Etihad's fourth “hat-trick” in the 58th minute, followed by Mira's second “hat-trick” in the 76th, 85th and 90th minutes.
Etihad topped the league table with 3 points, ahead of Al Naser on goal difference.
The team's technical director, Tareq Al Mahsiri, mainly relied on Renata Al Badaina, Retal Azmi, Jeda Kamal, Ritaj Arafa, Raneem Hammad, Lamar Al Shalabi, Kinda Al Titi, Janna Maatouk, Haya Abu Ali and Mira Jarrar for the match.
Etihad managed to end the first half with a three-goal lead through Janna Maatouk, who scored two goals in the 22nd and 42nd minutes, while Haya Abu Ali scored in the 40th minute.
