The technical director of Etihad team, Tareq Al Mahsiri, fielded a starting lineup consisting of Fakhri Al Anbousi, Sanad Al Hajaya, Ali Maher, Ahed Al Shahadat, Mustafa Abd Al Qawi, Ryan Al Qadi, Qais Al Shawashra, Omar Khalil, Mohammad Shehdah, Ahmad Al Huwaiti, and Al Tayeb Al Qadi.
Etihad took the lead after 28 minutes through Ali Maher, before their opponents equalized later on. Ahmad Al Batoush, Qais Al Tawalbah, Mohammed Adous, and Mohammed Al Far came on as substitutes.
