The list of players traveling to Malaysia includes 14 local players: Shereen Al Shalabi, Malak Shannak, Sajida Issa, Lana Faras, Lina Al Saheb, Al Anoud Ghazi, Tuqa Ghazi, Zeina Hazem, Inas Al Jamaeen, Rosbahan Freij, May Suweilm, Kinda Al Titi, Yasmin Al Ajrab, and Jannah Matouq. The team also includes six foreign players: Lydia Krampah, Naomi Anima, Takia Zakaria, and Eugenia Tetteh from Ghana, along with Preeti Rai from Nepal and Cidalia Cuta from Mozambique.
This is Etihad's second consecutive participation in the Champions League qualifiers, as last season's professional league champions, after making their debut last year, when the group stage was held at Prince Muhammad Stadium in Zarqa City.

The club is aiming to win and take a step towards qualifying for the group stage of the tournament, as the only representative of Jordanian football in the Asian competition, and to continue to demonstrate the club's progress.
Etihad's preparations for the qualifiers have been good, despite the fact that domestic competitions have not yet started, with daily training sessions at Al Salt field ahead of their trip to Malaysia last Friday. Dutch coach Mary Willemsen has been keen to raise the team's technical and physical readiness in order to compete strongly for the only qualifying spot in the group.
