The technical director of Etihad team, Tareq Al Mahsiri, fielded a starting lineup consisting of Sultan Al Amayra, Ahed Al Shahadat, Hamza Al Ghubish, Ahmad Al Btoush, Qais Al Tawalba, Mustafa Abd Al Qawi, Saif Al Din Khalifa, Mohammad Adous, Ahmad Al Huwaiti, Ryan Al Qadi, and Mohammed Shehdeh.
Etihad played tactically from the start, successfully reaching Al Ramtha's goal several times until striker Mohammad Shehdeh scored the first goal with an individual effort in the 25th minute of the first half, ending with Etihad in the lead. In the second half, the team continued its dominance, with Shehdeh doubling the score after finding himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and putting the ball in the net. Etihad then scored its third goal through Ahmad Al Huwaiti, who scored from a cross, and Mohammed Adous added Etihad's fourth goal after a remarkable dribble past Al Ramtha's defender and shooting the ball into the goal.
Etihad will face Al Faisaly in the ninth round on Thursday, the 12th of this month, at 4:00 p.m. at Al Faisaly Stadium.
