Etihad Club Breaks Records in Jordanian Football, Standing Out as the First Private Club

More than 65 players have been called up to national teams over the past three years, alongside winning 15 official titles

The club also finished runner-up in the Jordanian Women's Professional League in 2022 in its first participation, the Jordan Women's Cup in 2023, the Women's U13 League in 2024, the Women's U13 League in 2025, and the Jordanian U17 Professional League for the 2024-2025 season.

Etihad players also dominated the individual awards in various competitions. In the professional league, Tasnim Abu Al Rob won the 2022 Player of the Year award, and in 2023, the club's players dominated all individual awards, with Shireen Al Shalabi winning the Best Goalkeeper award, Laila Iskandar winning the league's top scorer title, and Rosbahan Freij winning the Best Player title. This dominance continued in 2024, with Shireen Al Shalabi and Rosbahan Freij winning the Best Goalkeeper and Best Player awards, respectively, and Naima Bouhani winning the league's top scorer title. Laila Iskandar also stood out as the top scorer in the Jordan and Saudi Arabia tournament in 2023, and Shireen Al Shalabi won the award for best goalkeeper in the same tournament.
It is worth noting that the women's team broke records in the 2024 professional league, winning all 15 of its matches without a single loss or draw, achieving a perfect score of 45 points out of 45, and scoring 72 goals as the strongest attack, while conceding only two goals throughout the season.

Etihad Club has proven the strength and success of its project in developing the level of male and female players and advancing them to better stages, by providing the national teams with the largest number of players, which was clearly evident in the past period through the call-up of more than 65 male and female players to the national teams. The list of players called up included: Shireen Al Shalabi, Malak Shannak, Yasmine Selawi, May Suweilm, Mira Jarrar, Inas Al Jameen, Rosbahan Freij, Lana Fares, Preety Rai, Tuqa Ghazi, Al Anoud Ghazi, Zeina Hazem, Laila Iskandar, Aya Majali, Maysa Jbara, Lina Al Saheb, Nour Zouqash, Tasnim Abu Al Rob, Tasnim Aslim, Anfal Al Sufi, Asil Murad, Diana Al Joulani, Sirine Ahraibi, Sajida Issa, Renata Al Badaina, Nour Ahmed, Hala Marrar, Lamar Al Shalabi, Jana Maatouk, Haya Abu Ali, Kinda Al Titi, Jida Kamal, Selin Ghazal, Rital Salama, Iman Al Tamizi, Alma Al Saifi, Yafa Fayed, Joud Artima, Bana Othman, Eleen Mansour, Alb Al Dumiri, Sadan Abdulrahman, Zeina Al Shurouf, Raghad Haqrous, Hala Abu Jaafar, Yasmine Madadha, Salma Hindia, Layan Jamal, as well as players: Saleh Freij, Omar Al Khatib, Muhammad Shehda, Ahmad Al Huwaiti, Ahmad Shaaban, Sultan Al Amayra, Qais Al Shawashra, Mahmoud Muhannad, Zaid Al Shneikat, Musab Mubarak, Muhammad Abu Mushrif, Ahmed Abu Kosh, Khaled Al Shaqarin, Yazid Mashaqba, Mohammed Amra, Hamza Ghbeish, Fakhri Anbousi, Adam Al Mashni, and Qusai Al Mahthi.

Since its establishment in 2022, Etihad Club has been keen to develop the level of its players on one hand, and to compete for and win titles on the other, which has been reflected in the past periods by winning 15 official championships organized by the Football Association for both genders, most notably winning the Jordanian Women's Professional League and the Jordanian Women's Cup in 2023 and 2024, respectively, in addition to winning the Jordan and Saudi Arabia Championship in 2023, the Women's U18 League in 2021, the First Division League in 2021, the Women's U14 League in 2021 and 2023, the Women's U19 League in 2023 and 2025, the Women's U16 League in 2023 and 2025, the Women's U15 League in 2024, and the Jordan Cup U17 in 2024.
