The technical director of Etihad team, Tareq Al Mahsiri, fielded a starting lineup consisting of Sultan Al Amayra, Ahmad Al Batoush, Sanad Al Hajaya, Ahed Al Shahadat, Ryan Al Qadi, Mohammad Al Far, Saif Al Din Khalifa, Mohammed Adous, Mustafa Abd Al Qawi, Mohammad Shehdeh, and Qais Al Shawashra.

Etihad took the lead in the 31st minute after Ahed Al Shehadat scored with a header, before his teammate Mohammad Shehdeh doubled the lead in the 47th minute. Al Qudah, Mohammed Barghoul, Qais Al Tawalbah, Ali Al Salman, and Karim Al Rashq came on as substitutes, with Al Qudah scoring the third goal in the 70th minute, before the opponents scored two goals.
