The technical director of Etihad team, Mary Willemsen, fielded a starting lineup consisting of Shirin Al Shalabi, Al Anoud Ghazi, Takia Zakaria, Yasmin Al Selawi, Tuqa Ghazi, Preeti Rai, Inas Al Jamaeen, Zeina Hazem, Lina Al Saheb, Rouzbahan Freij, and Kinda Al Titi.

Etihad dominated the match from the start, and attempted to score on more than one opportunity, most notably through two shots by Lina Al Saheb, but the first half ended goalless. The team wasted an opportunity to take the lead at the start of the second half after Inas Al-jamaeen missed a penalty kick, and shortly thereafter, the opponent scored the opening goal from the penalty spot.

Etihad managed to equalize in the 61st minute through player Preeti Rai, after Zeina Hazem sent her a long ball from the middle of the field, which the Nepalese player followed up with a well-placed shot into the goal. Hala Marrar and Leen Al-Batoush came on as substitutes in the second half, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Etihad remains alone at the top of the table with 14 points from 6 games, and will face its opponent Al Istiqlal on December 8 in the eighth round at JFA Stadium 1 (Polo) at 6:00 p.m.
