The technical director of the Etihad team, Mary Willemsen, started with a starting lineup that included Shirin Al Shalabi, Al Anoud Ghazi, Takia Zakaria, Tuqa Ghazi, Yasmin Al Silawi, Zeina Hazem, Rouzbahan Freij, Preeti Rai, Eugenia Titi, Lina Al Saheb, and May Swilem.
Etihad ended the first half with a 3-1 lead, with Eugenia Titi scoring twice and Rouzbahan Freij scoring once. In the second half, Nour Ahmed, Neomi Anima, and Hala Marrar came on as substitutes, with Preeti Rai scoring the fourth and fifth goals in the 54th minute and Takia Zakaria scoring in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Etihad continued to lead the professional league after reaching 17 points. In the ninth round, they will face their opponents, Amman FC, next Friday, the 12th of this month, at 6:00 p.m. at JFA Stadium 1 (Polo).
