Etihad now has seven points after drawing 2-2 with Al Baqa'a in the first round and defeating Al Majd 2-0 in the second round, qualifying at the top of the group and awaiting its opponent in the next round.
The technical director of Etihad team, Hamza Khwaj, relied on Sultan Al Amayra, Abdul Rahman Al Masanda, Waseem Abu Saleh, Anas Abu Ryala, Ahmad Hassan, Qusai Al Mahdi, Bashar Al Hayasat, Omar Foda, Mohammad Al Shawabka, Majid Al Tamimi, and Majd Al Din Abu Awad in his starting lineup.
Etihad ended the first half with a two-goal lead, scored by Anas Abu Ryala in the 15th minute and Ahmad Shaaban in the 27th minute. Khwaj brought on Amjad AlvTamimi, Karim Al Junaidi, and Mohammad Al Aslouti as substitutes during the match, and the team achieved its goal and qualified for the next round.
