Etihad cemented its dominance in the league by achieving a perfect record following today’s victory. In the first half, Al Orthodoxy opened the scoring, before Mira Jarrar equalized a quarter of an hour later, leaving the score at 1–1 at halftime. In the second half, Mira Jarrar scored again to give Etihad the lead, before Haya Abu Ali shone with a hat-trick, one of her goals coming from a direct free kick. Alma Al Saifi added the sixth goal, before Haya Abu Ali capped off the goal-scoring spree with two more goals.
With this victory, Etihad finished the season having won all of its matches, ending the league with a perfect record and rightfully claiming first place.
