Swelim took the lead in the professional league's scoring charts after reaching her eleventh goal this season, four goals ahead of her closest rivals, and was named the best player of the match by the Football Association's technical committee.
Etihad strengthened its lead by reaching 23 points, five points ahead of its closest competitor, and will face its opponent Al Istiqlal in the next round on Saturday, January 10, at the same stadium at 5:00 p.m.
