Etihad Shines and Beats Al Ahli in the Men's U17 League

Etihad regained its balance in the Men's U17 league after its thrilling 2-1 victory over Al Ahli on Saturday evening at Al Hashimi Stadium in the fifth round of the championship

With this victory, Etihad raised its points to ten, moving up to third place, behind second-placed Al Wehdat on goal difference.

The league will be suspended for the coming period due to the national youth team's participation in the Asian qualifiers to be held in Jordan at the end of November. The team will meet its opponent, Jordan Knights, in the sixth round on December 3 at Al Hashimi Stadium at 4:00 p.m.

The technical director of Etihad team, Tareq Al-Mahsiri, relied on the starting lineup of Fakhri Yamen, Safi Shahwan, Ahed Al Shahadat, Hamza Al Ghubish, Saif Al Din Khalifa, Qais Al Tawalba, Muhammad Barghoul, Qais Al Shawashra, Muhammad Adous, Ahmad Al Huwaiti, and Muhammad Shadha.

The opposing team took the lead at the end of the first half with a clean goal, prompting Al Mahsiri to make two substitutions between halves, bringing on Sanad Al Hajaya and Mustafa Attia, before bringing on Karim Al Rashq and Ryan Al Qadi. Etihad equalized in the 80th minute through Qais Al Shawashra, Substitute Karim Al Rashq scored the winning goal for Etihad before the end of regular time.
