Etihad Shows off on the Night of its Third Consecutive Junior Women's Title

Etihad showed off their title night in the U16 Elite Women's Elite League, with a big win over Amman FC with five goals without a goal, in the postponed third round match, which was held on Thursday evening, 12/6/2025, at the Polo Stadium.

Two minutes into the second half, Abu Ali made her mark by scoring the fourth goal two minutes after the start of the second half, with a crawling shot from outside the box that passed between the feet of the opponent's goalkeeper, after which Al Mahsiri made three changes at once by bringing on Sadan Abdulrahman, Jodi Abu Namra and Noura Al Abadi.

Raghad Hakrous scored the most beautiful goal of the night in the 59th minute, after she placed the ball in a wonderful way over the goalkeeper, to receive encouragement and praise from the fans in attendance, before he played the cards of Layan Jamal and Safa Abu Jaafar to activate the midfield and attack areas.

During the league tournament, Etihad recorded victories over Future Nashama(5-1) and (2-1), Al-Ahli (4-0) and (2-0), New English School (3-2) and (6-0), and Orthodox (4-1) and (6-0).

It is worth mentioning that Haya Abu Ali is the top scorer of the tournament with 12 goals, while Etihad is the strongest offense in the competition with 39 goals scored, and the strongest defense with only 9 goals conceded.

The final match witnessed the presence of Etihad Club President Omar Al-Hadid and his participation in the coronation ceremony, along with Etihad Club Sports Director and member of the Executive Committee of the Football Association Stephanie Al-Naber, and Director of Competitions at the Football Association Laila Al-Azzam, and the lifting of the trophy by players Rital Salama and Haya Abu Ali.

Etihad head coach Tariq Al- Mahsiri started with Renata Al-Badaina, Iman Al-Tamizi, Rital Salama, Joud Artema, Jaida Kamal, Celine Ghazal, Lara Jaradat, Alma Saifi, Haya Abu Ali, Mira Jarrar and Raghad Hakrous.

Etihad succeeded in deciphering Amman FC's defenses, after many missed opportunities, by scoring 3 consecutive goals in the last 3 minutes of the first half, as Alma Saifi scored the first after following up on Mira Jarrar's cross from a corner kick, while Jarrar scored the second with a creeping shot that the opponent's goalkeeper was unable to stop, before Haya Abu Ali concluded the festival of goals in the first half after a special individual effort and a powerful shot that found the net.
