Etihad played with a high-pressing style and controlled the flow of the game, with Mohammed Abd opening the scoring after a superb cross from Wissam Youssef, and Karim Halahla doubling the lead by scoring the second goal on a quick counterattack. Etihad continued to dominate with numerous attacks, as Omar Al Hamsi scored two consecutive goals on direct free kicks, before Wissam capped off the goal-scoring spree by netting Etihad’s fifth goal.
